“It was the worst moment in my career, by far,” she mentioned. “By far. I was so excited about those shows. It was devastating.”

Adele knew, regardless of the months of preparation, the funding of the band and the crew, and the hundreds of followers who had already purchased tickets and made journey preparations to see her, that the exhibits couldn’t go on. One thing simply felt unsuitable.

“There was just no soul in it,” she defined. “The stage setup wasn’t right. It was very disconnected from me and my band, and it lacked intimacy. And maybe I tried too hard to give it those things in such a controlled environment.”

Regardless of all of the backlash from indignant followers and ticket holders, and even being affected by her personal guilt, Adele mentioned she is proud of herself for suspending the Las Vegas residency.

“The first couple of months was really, really hard,” she admitted. “I was embarrassed. But it actually made my confidence in myself grow, because it was a very brave thing to do. And I don’t think many people would have done what I did.”

The “Easy on Me” singer added, “I’m very proud of myself for standing by my artistic needs.”
