Chmerkovskiy stated in Nov. 2021 that he “probably” wouldn’t return to the collection after his sudden week eight elimination with accomplice season 30 accomplice Olivia Jade Giannulli.

In an interview with Us Weekly, Johnson teased that her husband could have modified his thoughts about returning to the dance competitors collection.

“So, the funny thing is we don’t know if we’re coming back until right before the season [starts],” Johnson defined.

“But yes, I know that Val is excited to come back for another season, and I think he’s in the best shape of his life right now. I’m not sure what happened to him [this year], but he is snatched,” she teased.

“I’m like a little like, ‘Oh wow, OK. Watch out,’” Johnson stated of Chmerkovskiy’s eagerness to return and compete towards different professionals and celebrities within the ballroom. “I think he’s excited about this next season.”

“I think he is the best male dancer on the show, and I can say that very confidently and proudly,” Johnson beforehand informed Leisure Tonight.

“I think there is a lot more that we haven’t seen from him that I would love to see. I hope it’s not [the end] because he’s so good at dancing.”

When will season 31 of ‘Dancing With the Stars’ start?

Disney+ has not but introduced an official begin date for season 31 of Dancing With the Stars, nor has there been phrase on the collection’ returning professionals or competing celebrities.
