“It’s very fear-based. People are afraid to go there. They don’t talk about abuse,” Annie mentioned. “They don’t talk about the dark side of it because they want everyone to believe that this is the picture of perfection,” Christine’s mom revealed.

“That there’s the law of God that there’s no fault here. And so it’s like if you cover it up, it perpetuates,” Annie mentioned about the faith she was raised in.
